And so it goes

And so after 32 years of marriage I find my self alone.

What can I say. Blessings to the family, no one did anything "wrong."
It just didn't work.

No fault does not = no pain however.

you have more love flowing to you than you can know.

I wish there was a healing balm (what an old-fashioned word, but apt) that I could apply to the pain.

Sometimes, one just has to sit in silence and remember to breathe. I hope there are some decent walks and walking weather for you on this phase of the journey.

Blessings on your head.

Egregious, from what I've read at FDL, you are never alone, you have a big family in another realm.

They (we?) may not be so close as your real family, but it is still a family you can rely on for moral and spiritual support.

Write about it, someday, it will help your transition to the next step in your life.

And it would, no doubt, be as insightful and profound as your posts and comments. I, for one, would look forward to reading it.

Sometimes, our personal, private chasms seem to appear right along with the national ones.

It may be a cliche, but "Hang in there" seems to be a proper offering. If I read you right, not only has your domestic situation changed, you are also riding that proverbial old wagon, trying not to fall off.

I am assuming the two are somehow simultaneous, and I hope you can succeed with your determination, in spite of the obstacles life is throwing at you.

Thanks JEP, I truly appreciate your words of encouragement. I do experience a lot of support from firedoglake folks and others around the blogosphere.

As for writing about all this, perhaps in time. Lot of work to do first.
